Release Notes for 11/20/2024

Fixed a case where a disconnected player could cause a poltergeist CT model to appear in the middle of the map
Player model of a disconnecting player should now immediately suicide when disconnect is detected instead of lingering for 10 additional seconds under certain conditions
Fixed a case where damage prediction was incorrect due to view angle changes mid-spray
Lag compensation now runs when shooting at teammates and mp_teammates_are_enemies is

UnitedInternet/GMX/Web.de/1und1 “Warnt” neuerdings beim Aufruf schön mit einem “Die Sicherheit ihres Rechners wird durch ein <Browsername hier> Add-On eingeschränkt”.

Folgt man der “Hilfe” um dies zu beheben wird einem schön eingeflößt u.a. das Addon “Adblock” zu entfernen. http://www.browsersicherheit.info/ NICE TRY!

Es mag zwar sein das es gefälschte Add-Ons diverser Populärer Erweiterungen gibt, aber die Warnung gibt es auch wenn es sich um ein original Add-On handelt.

Windows 8 / Windows Server 2012 auf Festplatten kleiner als 90GB installieren

Windows 8 / Windows Server 2012 weigert sich auf Festplatten mit weniger als 90GB zu installieren.

Dies ist vor allem ärgerlich bei kleinen SSD’s oder Virtuellen Servern.

Mit einem einfachen Trick kann man Windows 8 / 2012 aber doch dazu bewegen auf kleineren Partitionen zu installieren. Völlig ohne geändertem Installationsmedium.

Installiert wird Windows 8 / 2012 erst völlig normal vom gewünschten Medium. Also ISO (bsp. VM) oder DVD.
