SM verliert MySQL-Verbindung

Hallo,
mein CSS Server verliert sehr häufig die MySQL-Verbindung. Da soziemlich alles wichtige über MySQL läuft, ist das natürlich echt müll weil die Adverts nicht mehr angezeigt werden, das Stamm-Plugin nicht richtig funktioniert, die Admins nichts mehr machen können, das Ranking nicht funktioniert und und und.

Ich habe es bisher nicht geschafft den Fehler zu reproduzieren, aber er tritt sehr oft auf.

In den Errorlogs steht nichts darüber, dass ist ja grade was mich wurmt.
Und ja, es läuft alles auf einem Rootserver.

das sagt nichts über die version des mysql servers aus! die kannst du z.b. mit phpmyadmin dir anzeigen lassen.

ich würde vorschlagen dein MySQL auf die neueste Version upzudaten und dann den Root neu zu starten

was noch wäre, wann bricht den die verbindung ab zu MySQL also nach paar minuten oder ...

Die Version werde ich nicht updaten, hat diverse Gründe.
Er bricht anscheinend nach ein paar Minuten ab, selbst ein Maprestart bringt nichts, erst der Serverrestart bringt die Verbindung wieder.

also ich habe gerade mit nem kumpel geskypt, und der hatte das Problem auch

einfach per ssh auf dem root einloggen und ins verzeichniss gehen cd /tmp (temp-verzeichnis)
und das "ln /var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock mysql.sock" (ohne"") eintippen ob es was bringt bei dir keine ahnung

aber Probieren kannst das ja, sollte das auch nicht gehen mehr weiss ich leider nicht da ich eh Debian 6.0 "Squeeze" habe
und bei mir läuft alles einwandfrei ...

tja ich bin mit meinem latein am ende, evtl. mal die DB neu machen
was noch gut wäre, poste mal deine databases.cfg (wichtiges wie PW löschen) ...
